hey, so i'm gonna haul my ass outta this blog. it's not safe anymore... *shifty look* plus i'm kinda over xanga and the whole blog thing. it's safer to spill my beans in a journal or something... or to my parents. heh heh..

i can't believe i just said goodbye to Sangita and will probably never see her again. i thought she was going to stay in the states and try to find a job here but i was shocked when she told me she was leaving for india with her parents permanently. her graduation was today and after that we went to this indian restaurant with her parents and a whole group of friends. then we went to Starbucks and when we got back on campus Yvonne, Sangita, Caitlin (Yvonne's housemate) and I went around campus and took tons of pictures with the lights and decorations.

Sangita, i will miss you so much!! i'm already beginning to miss you. as soon as i got back to my empty apt after saying goodbye to you, i felt this ache in my chest and the pit of my stomach like something was missing. i will miss all of my therapy sessions with you, all of the gossip and pouring out of my heart to you... all of your logical, mature and psychological theories... i will miss all of that but i'll hold on to the memories we've made since i met you that day at IDF back in September 2005. i can't believe we'll be so far away from each other... i wish you all the happiness and success in the world and i hope that we will keep in touch! i will do my part... I LOVE YOU!!!

i started out being really happy this morning because i'd just finished my finals and the Fall 2006 is officially over for me. then i met up with the others at the cafeteria and i became confused. not in the thought-confused sense but more emotionally confused. i was happy that the break is beginning but then really sad that everyone was leaving for it and i'm probably never going to see some of them again. so i thought, now's the time to be camera-happy, and whipped out my camera and took pics with almost everyone at the table. fortunately for the guys, they look better in real life than they do in the pics that we took. haha.. here are the results:

Nathan's going back to colorado but will be back next sem.

Jamie's staying in oklahoma (where he's from). this was a bad pic of him. he's never taken an arm-length shot before. lol

Akina's going to california and seattle and will be back next sem but will be going back to japan after Spring 2007 when her exchange program ends.

Yuki's going to california to visit her friendship family and is in the same situation as akina.

Georgio is going back to austria and will not be returning.

 Alicia's going to houston, texas and will be back next sem.

 Katie's going back to dallas, texas and will be back next sem.

Chema's going back to mexico but will be back next sem.

Ronnie's staying in oklahoma (where he's from).

after some teary goodbyes, Ronnie asked us if we wanted to go ice skating... so that was our plan. while waiting for the others, something came up about lost keys so Kerstin, Alicia, Akina and I ended up waiting outside for more than half an hour. while we were waiting, i saw it as an opportunity to snap some shots.

Andres is going back to argentina and will not be returning because his exchange program has ended.
